CORE Development Inc., established five mission goals:
- (1) Recreation
- (2) Housing
- (3) Business Development & Retention
- (4) Rural Health
- (5) Tourism
Three members from each town serve on the board of directors. The monthly board meetings are hosted by each CORE town on a rotating schedule.
Accomplishments of CORE Development Inc.
- Construction of a golf course
- Procurement of housing grants
- Contacts with new potential businesses
- Support of a regional health coalition
- Affiliation with two other development organizations to
- form a regional association of economic development
